Autodesk's Project Dragonfly is an early stage, entry level design application delivered over the web, and it's based on Flex.  Project Dragonfly is ideal for anyone who’s ever wanted an easy, intuitive floor planning tool to dream, organize, and envision changes in their living space.  Two of the engineers working on Project Dragonfly will cover the evolution of the application, explain some of the issues encountered along the way, and touch on other topics regarding delivering rich internet design applications in the future.

About the speakers:

Shelly Mujtaba, senior software engineer at Autodesk and technical lead for Project Dragonfly has been exploring  graphical editing in the browser for past several years. Previously a developer on Autodesk Labs' Project Draw, which created a zero client browser based 2-D editing environment. The latest effort -- Dragonfly -- aims to push the limits on browser based 3-D editing and aggregation.
 
David Falck, is a senior software engineer at Autodesk and engineer on Project Dragonfly.  Previously he worked at Autodesk Labs on Project Draw and other research and development projects.
